Mauritius is known as one of the most attractive tourist destinations in the world. In the north of Mauritius, wonderful beaches like Péreybere, Grand Bay or Mont Choisy, bordered by pubs, restaurants, coffee shops, shopping malls await the visitor. You will be able to discover the islets in the north of Mauritius if you go on a catamaran or a speed boat trip. You can also indulge in entertaining activities like sea-diving or sky-diving. You might be interested to visit the famous Pamplemousses Botanical Garden or “ L’Aventure du Sucre”, a sugar-factory converted into a museum dedicated to the history of the Mauritian Sugar.
The South of Mauritius stands in contrast to the north. It is often referred to as the Natural South with its forests, untouched landscape, and beautiful beaches resting in a serene atmosphere.
The east and south-east part of the island offers a wonderful natural landscape bordered by a blue lagoon. You might take a trip to Ile aux Cerfs or visit the historical village of Mahebourg and the beautiful beach of Blue Bay.
The west coast of Mauritius stands in beautiful natural scenery bordered on one side by the blue lagoon and on the other side by a range of mountains. A major attraction in the west is swimming with the dolphins. You can also visit the Casela Nature and Leisure Park, the 7 Coloured Earth in Chamarel or the “7 cascades” waterfalls in Plaine Champagne.
The capital city of Port Louis is the Business Centre of the country resting amidst both historical and modern buildings. You can visit the Central Market and the Caudan Waterfront with its shopping malls, restaurants and pubs.
The Centre of Mauritius is made of busy towns and residential areas with shopping centres. Ebene is at the heart of a growing business centre hosting many firms and organizations. From Ebene, you can visit nearby towns like Rose-Hill, Beau Bassin, Phoenix or Quatre Bornes. There are many shopping malls close to Ebene like Jumbo, Bagatelle, or Shoprite.

Note: These rates are per taxi per way, with a maximum of 3 persons per taxi in the daytime. If you wish to have taxi services after 21:00, a supplement of Rs150- is applicable on each trip.
In Ebene, you will find a number of banks, such as MCB, Maubank, Barclays, HSBC, or Standard, where you can exchange currencies. In addition to banks, exchange counters such as BA Exhange and Shibani Finance are available at Rose Hill and Quatre Bornes.
