Towards Integrated Gender Economics Training

This week, ATI and UN Women (UNW) experts are working together with IMF staff  in Mauritius to develop a two-week course on gender and economics. Once ready, the course will be offered to African officials annually at ATI and provide an overview of the economic benefits of gender equality in economic processes and discuss the mechanisms through which more gender-equal opportunities and outcomes translate better macroeconomic outcomes and more inclusive and sustainable growth.
